Computer Viruses are a real enough danger without the additional problems of Hoaxes.

These usually attempt to persuade the recipients to take action to "Protect" their systems by deleting (safe and valid) files, to engage opinion about non-existent "Issues" or to attract visitors to malware-loaded Websites in order to collect an electronic greeting card someone has sent them.
